Members of Lismore local band,  The Button Collective will be joining us for the final Makers Market for 2013, this Saturday December 21 from 10-2.  The Button Collective are self-described as a ruckus of folk gypsy sounds, with a hint of bluegrass and probably more than a tinge of the Northern Rivers. They have been running a pozible campaign to raise funds for their upcoming CD.  If you haven't heard them yet, it might be time to discover your new favourite band, and order their upcoming CD...  Come down to the market with your shopping list, and time to spare to relax under the tree, soak up the Button Collective vibe and eat the great Italian-style vego food that will be available at the market.

On the festive front, the Lismore Makers Market is the best place in town to buy local, sustainably produced wares for your loved ones.   This market will feature a great range of makers, and include men's and women's clothing, skincare products, artwork and prints, letterpress stationary, functional and decorative ceramics, kids toys and gift ware, funky aprons, jewelry and more.  Check our facebook page for more details on individual makers.

festive season markets ♥

hey there!

we have a very special announcement.  instead of one fabulous festive season market this december we will be having two!~

that means double the opportunity to find something lovely for the special folk in your life.

and of course a last minute option for those of you who who are super busy and finding that this year has flown by at an amazingly rapid pace (that would be us too!).

we're delighted to announce that the lismore makers market family of makers is ever growing, and it's fabulous to see how many people make such beautiful handmade wares in our very own local area. 

if you join us on our lismore makers market facebook page you can get an idea of which makers will be joining us for our december 7 and december 21 markets.  if you're unsure of what to buy we also have $25 and $50 gift vouchers, for sale by the market co-ordinator on the day.

we have kids and adults clothes, handmade soap, jewelry, homewares, toys and giftcards, basketry, ceramics, gorgeous prints and a whole host of  other wonderful wares on offer.  the festive season is a great opportunity for thoughtful consumerism and there is no better place than our local handmade makers market to buy locally made, thoughtfully produced sustainable wares.

as well as market stalls, there will be some fab local music on the go, as well as fresh italian-style vegetarian food on offer.  see you there! 10am - 2pm.

the spring market is upon us!

August Makers Market

another lovely market day is afoot! we've been lucky enough to have some gorgeous markets lately, with a bunch of fab new makers and new creations from our regulars.  if you're keen to find out more about who will be joining us each month check out our facebook page where we plug the makers coming along to share their fabulous wares. 

midwinter makers markets

The Lismore Makers Market is ready for winter with a great line-up of cosy stalls for you this coming Saturday.  We have some wonderful fibre artists joining us, including Zoya with her spinning wheel and gorgeous hand spun wool products.  We also have a jewelry stall where you can purchase handmade beaded necklaces or take your own in for repairs. We have soap, homewares, functional and decorative ceramics, paper crafts, clothes, toys and more.  Find us on facebook to get the lowdown on the rest of the stallholders who will be joining us.

As usual, the market will coincide with the Conservatorium's CONcert, which this month will be celebrating NAIDOC week with various local musicians.

Get ready for a day of wintery goodness in the sun - markets and music, could be better!

The lovely Lismore Makers Markets are on again this Saturday from 10am til 2pm.  The Conservatorium's cushion CONcert is on too of course, with a lovely line up of locals, including the Conservatorium's own Diploma Ensembles, the Andrea Soler Duo, and the Andy Jans Brown Band.

May Makers Market

The May Makers Market is just in time for you to get something lovely for your Mum! As it gets a bit cooler in the Lismore region we've found some fabulous fibre artists to join our entourage of handmade makers. Join us on Saturday May 4th, check out our range of stalls including new textile and fibre artists, ceramacists, painted pet portraits, upcycled, revamped & handmade clothes, jewelry and more. The monthly cushion CONcert will also be in full swing and we think it's about time that we get out in an almost wintery sun together, so bring on the clear skies!
