Members of Lismore local band,  The Button Collective will be joining us for the final Makers Market for 2013, this Saturday December 21 from 10-2.  The Button Collective are self-described as a ruckus of folk gypsy sounds, with a hint of bluegrass and probably more than a tinge of the Northern Rivers. They have been running a pozible campaign to raise funds for their upcoming CD.  If you haven't heard them yet, it might be time to discover your new favourite band, and order their upcoming CD...  Come down to the market with your shopping list, and time to spare to relax under the tree, soak up the Button Collective vibe and eat the great Italian-style vego food that will be available at the market.

On the festive front, the Lismore Makers Market is the best place in town to buy local, sustainably produced wares for your loved ones.   This market will feature a great range of makers, and include men's and women's clothing, skincare products, artwork and prints, letterpress stationary, functional and decorative ceramics, kids toys and gift ware, funky aprons, jewelry and more.  Check our facebook page for more details on individual makers.

festive season markets ♥

hey there!

we have a very special announcement.  instead of one fabulous festive season market this december we will be having two!~

that means double the opportunity to find something lovely for the special folk in your life.

and of course a last minute option for those of you who who are super busy and finding that this year has flown by at an amazingly rapid pace (that would be us too!).

we're delighted to announce that the lismore makers market family of makers is ever growing, and it's fabulous to see how many people make such beautiful handmade wares in our very own local area. 

if you join us on our lismore makers market facebook page you can get an idea of which makers will be joining us for our december 7 and december 21 markets.  if you're unsure of what to buy we also have $25 and $50 gift vouchers, for sale by the market co-ordinator on the day.

we have kids and adults clothes, handmade soap, jewelry, homewares, toys and giftcards, basketry, ceramics, gorgeous prints and a whole host of  other wonderful wares on offer.  the festive season is a great opportunity for thoughtful consumerism and there is no better place than our local handmade makers market to buy locally made, thoughtfully produced sustainable wares.

as well as market stalls, there will be some fab local music on the go, as well as fresh italian-style vegetarian food on offer.  see you there! 10am - 2pm.
